Onderweg naar 21ste Kunstwandelroute Hummelo | Harken

Het werk Harken heeft vele vaders. De grootvader is het werk "Blickst du hinauf und liest die Worte..." ["Looking Up. Reading the Words..."] van Ilya Kabakov | 1997 | Munster |1997 Dat ik ooit daar zag toen ik de beelden-tentoonstelling bezocht. 

Toen ik bij vriend Gertjan Tuenter een oud tv-mast zag liggen had ik nog het idee om het als illustratie te gebruiken bij mijn gedicht BEELDRELIGIE⇲ En dat ik de regels erin zou verwerken. Al verder onderzoekend naar de mogelijkheden werd het concrete poëzie n.a.v. het begrip Harken⇲. 

Installation consisting of a concrete foundation, steel mast, 22 metal antennae, 3 mm thick metal lettering. Height: 15 m, area of the lettering: 14.45 x 11.3 m

Location: Northern meadows by lake Aa, east of the Kardinal von Galen ring road, permanent installation.
